My friend's oldest son has the BLACK FLY EDITION 3.0, just like me but without the Bug Beam laser. The laser didn't need to be zeroed. It's good as is, at ranges of 2-3 of feet. Beyond that I don't expect it to kill anything. The salt may be a larger grain size like they say, but it's so close to Morton salt it's hard to see any difference. But any big grains are more likely to settle to the bottom of the bag, and I've only used a little bit so far. Still, it's nice to have a resealable pouch in my gun case. The cap screws on like a toothpaste tube and the spout is nice for pouring the salt into the hopper. When it's empty maybe I'll just fill the pouch from a canister of table salt. I left my "salt weapon" lying out on the table a lot when I was up north from spring through fall, so anyone who wanted to could shoot flies and other bugs. I just like saying I have a salt weapon. Like when I get out the case and I offer to show people my salt weapon.
