When I got the Stars & Stripes Edition Warrior 3S, I also bought an Olight Seeker 4 Mini White and UV LED Flashlight. When you click the button once, the white light comes on like any other flashlight they make. But when you double click it, instead of Turbo mode kicking in, the UV light comes on instead. Mine is a titanium limited edition they don't make anymore. Thursday afternoon I got a red Seeker 4 USB-C Rechargeable EDC Flashlight With 3100 Lumens to go with it. I don't plan on buying a Seeker 4 Pro High Power Flashlight with a max 4,600-lumen output to finish the set. This one is plenty bright. Mine is 50, 300, and 1,200 lumens on low, medium, and high. It has a run time of 5 days in the 5 lumen Moon mode. I'll use the 50 lumen Low setting more than anything, but it's nice to have more when I want it.

Before that I bought a i5T Plus EDC Flashlight Pebble finish in O.D. Green, and before that one in Blue. I like the pebble grip better than the double helix of the others. They run off 2 AA batteries, instead of one AA like the i5T EOS. It runs up to 54 hours at 15 lumens and delivers a max output of 550 lumens and a up to 285 feet (87 meters throw). That's compared to a max output of 300 lumens and a max throw of 196 feet (60 meters) with the i5T Eos. These are just a hair shorter than my Mini Maglites, and the head is way narrower. Maglite doesn't like to advertise the lumens or candela of the Xenon bulb versions like mine. But I found the specs page that says they're 14 lumens with a Peak Beam Intensity of 2305, and a 96 meter throw. The LED version says they're 127  lumens and the beam distance is 156 meters. The Pro version is 332  lumens with a 172 meter throw. I like having 550 lumens a lot better than 14 from a 2 AA flashlight. I just tried using 2 2.4 volt lithium batteries in one of them and it looked brighter, but not enough to use all the time and risk burning it up. I also tried a pair of 3.6 volt lithium batteries and only had low, and it wasn't any brighter than with regular AA batteries. When I try to click it onto high, the high beam blinks and it's back to low.

A few weeks ago I bought a Blue Perun 2 Mini LED Rechargeable Headlamp. It has both white and red lights and will be great for camping. I have an extra headband and a free Harbor Freight 3 AAA light fits it perfectly. The flashlight would be on one side of your head instead of the front, but it works. The extra headband and lHarbor Freight flashlight is a birthday present for my friend.

I forgot to mention the Warrior Nano 1,200 Lumens Flashlight, and Warrior Mini 2 1,750 lumen Flashlight I got, both in Black. They each have a side switch, and a tail cap switch that are momentary or constant on. They make 7 different flashlights in the Warrior line.

OKAY OKAY OKAY

Just came back from IDPA Nats.  The low light stage was different than before.  Usually when I've shot a low light, YOU & the TARGETS are in low light.  Even last years IDPA World had the shooter in a shaded tunnel,.  This year however the shooter is in full on daylight trying to see in a dark room.  1000 Lumens couldn't overcome the problem isof the shooter's pupils NOT being dilated.    Interestingly enough the stage sponsor was a flashlight maker!  Uh Huh.  Their big sign was all about their 3,000, THREE THOUSAND, lumen EDC.  I wonder how many got ordered the next day.

I'm now gaming this.  I'm carrying the most lumens I can get away with in competition.  While I own two O-Lights, I'd prefer Streamlight, so the hunt is on.  GA State IDPA is in two weeks, don't know if they're having a low light stage but I'm going to be prepared.

I have a Streamlight WML. It's a PROTAC RAIL MOUNT HL-X LONG GUN LIGHT. High is 1,000 lumens, 447m beam distance, 50,000 candela. Low is 60 lumens, 111m beam distance, 3,100 candela. The run time is supposed to be 1.25- 21  hours with 2 CR123A batteries, and 1.75 - 24 hours with an SL-B26 Protected Li-Ion USB Rechargeable Battery Pack. It's an 18650 battery, but longer than standard, which a lot of them are if they have the charging port on top. It's 18.9 x 70mm, and some 18 x 65mm (18650) batteries are too short to work.

My Olight PL-3S Valkyrie Rail Mount Light Rail Mounted Tactical Light is also 1,000 lumens, but only 10,000 candela, with a 656 ft (200 m) beam distance. I don't know why it has less than half the beam distance and 1/5 the candela of the Streamlight when it has the same lumens.   But I still like it because of how compact it is with the batteries side by side instead of one behind the other.

The only other Streamlight flashlight I ever had was a Scorpion with a Xenon bulb like the old Maglites. It was up to 6,500 candlepower, and 70 lumens or so. It had a 1 hour runtime with a pair of CR123A batteries, and they don't make them anymore.

I scoff at 1,000lm.  Probably going to get a Streamlight 89000.  2000lm in an EDC package. 

BTB first hand knowledge that a SL 1L-1AA will take a heavy duty wash cycle.  Didn’t try a dryer cycle though. 



It was an experiment, yeah not an accident, an experiment.  I got my knife cleaned too in the process.

I got more Olight flashlights 2 Fridays ago, on the 20th. One is an Arkfeld Ultra 3-in-1 EDC Flashlight with O-aluminum Material. It's a lot like the Arkfeld Pro 3-in-1 EDC Flashlight I already had, but a little bit bigger and brighter. It's a maximum of 1,400 lumens instead of 1,300. Not much difference, and it's 2,630 candela instead of 2,608. Again, not much difference. What really sets it apart is the O-aluminum, OAL for short, material it's made of. No, not that OAL.   This stuff is more than double the strength of 6061 aluminum that most flashlights are made of. It's even stronger than 7075 aluminum. The whole body is sandblasted after machining, and it's NOT anodized. That's just what color it turns when it oxidizes. And it feels really good in my hands. It's so hard they had to get a more powerful laser to engrave it. They had a big show in Las Vegas last month to announce the new products for fall, and part of the promotion was free laser engraving. It looks just like the online mock-up when I ordered it.

I also got an OD GREEN Compass version of the Arkfeld UV - White Light and UV Dual Light Sources Flashlight. That's in my pocket now instead of the Racing Stripes Arkfeld Pro I had in there. It only has a max of 1,000 lumens, and doesn't have a laser so it's a little bit smaller and an ounce or so lighter.

Here are my Arkfeld, Arkfeld Pro, and Arkfeld Ultra. The OD Green Compass is a good companion to the i1R 2 Pro Keychain Flashlight they gave me. There are different colors for the 4 cardinal points of the compass, and this one, Center. I'm glad they picked this one to give me. I took the iTHX Pumpkin Orange light off my key ring and put this on instead.

I got a PLAID i3T EOS Small Flashlight for about a buck as a combo with the Arkfeld Ultra. The color isn't painted on, it's machined into the surface. It's not laser engraved either, it's like a micro version of knurling. It feels good and grippy compared to the smooth lights. I like it and got a second Plaid i3T EOS a few days ago. Even though you're not supposed to, I put a 3.7 volt 10440 lithium battery in the first one instead of a AAA. They tossed an imini Tiny Instant Light in with the Sigurd Angled Grip Light as a combo. It's powered by 3 LR41 button cells and comes with three extra batteries. It turns on when you pull its magnetic base from the holder which easily fits on a coat zipper, and you can stick it to any ferrous metal. The later imini 2 version is USB rechargeable and costs 5 bucks more. It's a better light IMO, but 2.17" long instead of 1.38", so if you want a tiny light the original is the one to get. I already had 2 keychain lights that use 3 or 4 batteries like this, but not magnetic or instant-on.
