Magpul new colors.

If you don't like Medium Coyote Tan, now Magpul has Modified Coyote Brown mags and accessories. ::)  I don't think most people who come up with coyote tan and coyote brown colors have ever seen a coyote in the wild, but when I was face to face with them, they weren't the color of any "coyote" textiles or polymers I see. But, if you want to add more variety to a "50 shades of FDE" build, here you go. Add some tan and brown to the mix. And on the subject of Flat DARK Earth, why is is always LIGHT instead of DARK. Admittedly, I'm partially color blind, but I don't see this as being a "new" color as much as a variation of an old color. Here are 2 Magpul mags, one in the old color, and one in the new color.

They need to be a bit more imaginative that that.  Maybe something like "thermal tan" or "laser lemon" .   I bought some chartreuse AR mags from Wideners years ago to train with around Halloween.

The tan mag on the left looks more brown to me than the brown mag on the right. Maybe a little reddish copper in it too, but what do I know, I'm colorblind.

Taking from the world of theatrical lighting where the most used lighting color is...  Bastard Amber.  The supplier, Roscoe, came up with it and their competitor, Apollo, calls their compete color, Fatherless Amber.

I think Bastard Coyote would be very marketable.

I think they missed the mark on Coyote color. And If anyone wants to sell a Coyote magazine, what better way than to have a Coyote on it? No matter what color it is, brown, tan, purple, pink, or whatever, it's still a Coyote magazine.
