Getting Zumbo back on the air might well be a good thing.

We need more 'hunting' shows explaining that the 2A covers ALL guns not just those 'high power sniper rifles' that most hunters prefer and that if one is banned then it just means that another one, maybe theirs, is next.

BTW what did Michael promise them to get referred to as "Mr Bane"?  ;D

tooo bad that Zumbo now sees the light. Things were done which his shooting a hole in "Zumbosworld" with a AR(pink or not) can not be forgiven.! Case closed!!!!! Dumbo has been writen off. MB himself cannot fix Dumbo's clusterbomb assult of not only ourguns but are American pride. Call us terriost will he. TERRIOST!!! That son-of-a-*@$#% !!!!!!Which leads me to my last rant. It has already started with the (blackrifles=terrorist guns), fueling the bigot legislatures to try and bring laws to band our kind. That right I said BIGOTS. Hate me for my belief that (blackrifle=good rifles). Zubmo, antigun goverment and the bradiebirgade law makers are on the same page in my book! Where is the out rage in that. and how dare " the Nuge" or anyone else expect my forgiveness. Zums lack of income buys a lot of SSSSOOOORRRYS.I SPIT ON THE NOTION OF OUR FORGIVENESS AND HIS RENEWED SHOW Spit, Spittle, Hack-tuwee........ I have only begun and I am already dehyreated dang it. I AM RELOADING W/ A HUGE GLASS OF ICED TEA ZUMBO...... SALIVA HI-CAP IF YOU WILL! Sooooo Zumbo I suggest a zig zag pattern w/ a comando roll to the rain gear cause you can hang out with Tom Sellick for all i care, not even Magnum P.I. could right your wronngs in my book you"66yr old burly outdoors guy".

That is a rarity from the New York Times, a fairlybalanced article.  If Zumbo gets another show, so be it.  I guess I could forgive him for his ill-advised beliefs no matter what damage he did to our sport.  One of the great things about this country is we give people second chances...But I'll probably will still be skeptical of him for a long time.

Didn't say I was going to watch it, though.

I agree 100%!  What he said is unforgiveable, IMHO.  He is just the kind of gun owner that the Sarah Brady's of the world love to quote.

Guys (and Lady), I would venture to guess that 'we' (shooters, not hunters) never watched his show before.  I wouldn't if he came back even if he had never written that blog, not my type of show  BUT hunters do watch him and I have found that many hunters still have the wrong attitude about the 2A.

They would watch Zumbo and MAYBE he could bring them around to thinking of the shooting, gun owning, hunting community a whole.

I see too much fragmentation within our ranks and would like to fix that.  That way we won't fall into the old "When they came for ** I didn't say any thing..."

Difficult for me to ever take Zumbo serious again but your analysis seems reasonable to me.
