Mr. Bane  great show, about the old african rifles, you asked the person from Ruger if you could get a 577NE in a number1 and he said NO.  20 some years ago I shot a Ruger number 1   that was made into a 577NE by JD Jones of SSK. what fun it was!!!  750 grain bullets and it did have a little kick. After seeing what the show was going to be about I didn't think I was going to like it, but when the show got going it was real interesting and wanted to shoot those rifles right then and there......great show.

A friend of mine who works in a local shop had a No. 1 in one of the .416 rifles. I asked to look at it, and he said "If you buy that rifle, I'll buy you a box of ammo and a bottle of aspirin! And I'll match you shot for shot up to 3 rounds." I didn't buy it..... LOL.
