On this week’s TBD/SURVIVAL, the team looks at the increasing pressures on individuals during the height of the quarantine and the necessity of careful thought and planning as we go forward.
More than a decade ago, TBD/SURVIVAL did a deep dive into pandemics and how Americans might protect themselves. Now that what we discussed in the abstract has come to pass, the TBD/SURVIVAL TEAM — Michael Janich, Rob Pincus, Mike Seeklander and Michael Bane — decided to come together to help people weather this crisis. Our commitment was always deeply personal; deeply honored that TBD saved lives. We are here to help.

I understand you guys are trying to walk the highroad here, but lets not ignore the elephant in the room for crying out loud.
Also – the recording was full of background noises – laughing, heavy breathing, gasping, etc. Very distracting. Like a really bad conference call…
Sorry, which elephant, and we’ll discuss it next week!
And sorry again, but i bought a new microphone and didn’t have a chance to test it…i think we got it by the end…the background noise was an RF/Bluetooth “leak” from somewhere, as none of us had people in the house. We were frantically exchanging messages to get the mic debugged.

Thanks for the reply Michael. I believe you are covering said elephant in your MBTV podcasts. In retrospect, “best defense survival” probably isn’t the proper format for discussing the validity of the government hovering over our necks. Better to discuss dealing with reality. Thanks for what you do. I am probably not the only one deeply frustrated by our current situation.
