I also like the idea, for a few reasons.
I like the idea of the bulletproof gun case/bag, that you point your gun at and pull the trigger to make sure it's empty.
I've thought about buying the bulletproof briefcase, so I could carry it around and move it in front of me if needed.

The backpack seems to be both these in one, although I'd rather face someone with a gun then turn away (running away?)

Tex, Overload,

I like it too and if you have it just slung over one shoulder  (left if right handed) then you could easily pull it to the front while drawing!

Yep.. I would opt for having one of each if I lived in the big bad city.. but around here..
well~~~ :-\ the wildest it gets around here  is if the neighbors longhorn steers bust out of the fence..
or someone decides to shoot wild skunks in town.  ;D

((added thought))
Isn't it a hell of a shame that we even NEED stuff like this in the world?  ???

Sadness........... :(

I kinda like the idea.

I like the idea too.  Might come in handy at the mall during Christmas shopping....what with all those flying carts, elbows and dirty stares the socker moms throw at you ;-)
