keep a shotgun with mag tube fully stoked, action open. any concerns about the mag spring getting fatigued? thanks.

You will get answers both ways on this.
It seems to be more of a problem with older guns, less so with newer alloys and manufacturing techniques.
I'd just leave out a round or 2.

You can keep it loaded and if the spring does get fatiuged you can get an extra power spring. Problem solved.

Did see this from time to time in the late 80's and early 90's. Not so much now.

Mine has gotten a set from being loaded for years but it still feeds the last round as reliably as the first. No worries.
