I have the best wife...

Hope everyone's Christmas went well, and that Santa brought you what you had asked for.

I got a new Horseshoe Brand Leather Groover, which I had asked about in a previous post. It seems to be very well built and works well the little I got to use it.
I also got some needles and skiver blades, and a nice Osborne 1 3/4" bag punch, so now I dont have to use my 1.5" and then a hair more anymore.... Also a new subscription to the Saddlers Journal, of which mine just expired.
I also got a new Ipod touch from the extended family. My day was very good, and I was in high heaven.

So then tonite, my wife brings down a long box all wrapped up, and hands it to me. (She has this cool habit of sneaking long boxes in unnoticed for Xmas and Birthdays once in awhile). So I open the end, and there is a .30 Cal. hole looking at me with an M1 Garand on the other end. I was flat speechless. I have been wanting one for years, and she has been working on getting me one for the past year. Its beautiful, and appears to be pretty much a matching SA 1955 model if I am reading things right.

No, I will not loan her out......

Dalton congrads on your nice XMAS with you and your wife. Your a lucky guy  but I am one up on you cause my wife is going to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversity with me and our kids in Jan.  ;) KT
