is it a strait mag or is it cruved?

The mag its self is curved for the hole 25 rounds but the first 14 or 15 are strait. At that point it starts a noticeable curve. As long as the rim of the top one is ahead of the bottom it work just fine! Curved or not!

I was just looking at my Marlin's .22 mags and it's double stacked as well. It's only about 2" long, enough for 7 rounds, but it's strait. Take a mag as long as the ruger 22/45 and it should be able to get 14 to 15 rounds in it with no problems feeding. It seems to me that the manufactures just don't want to put the R&D into it because they can sell 10 rounders anywhere, but their limited in where they can sell higher capacity mags. ???

Rimmed cartrigdes can be double stacked as the Kel-Tec and BREN LMG in .303 demonstrates.  I would not want one as a full auto as I think the center fire 5.7x28 does a better job and more reliable ignition.  However,  I am in need of a new .22 Mag rifle to replace my Marlin 793 that I had to sell.

They do just fine. The S&W M&P15-22 uses a double stack 25rd mag with out any feeding problems!

Beat me to it.
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

There was also the Coonan Arms 1911 in .357 Mag, I never heard of feeding problems with that.
As far as I know the reason it didn't take off was the size of the grip needed to hold .357 rounds.
