i have often wondered about the use  of force against lasers

Use of force is not restricted to a single weapon.  The justification for use of force with ANY weapon is based on the Reasonable Man fearing for great bodily harm or death.  Knowledge of laser and dealing with the use of one against you could bring about that concern.

haven't shot a 3 gun match since 2016... and had put a 28" barrel on the Benelli for some recreational skeet and 5 stand.... swapped the 28 for the 21" and the 8 shot tube....
