The good thing is that I'll be finished with the up front house remodel in 3-4 weeks.  Now all I need is a generator....of which I suppose it is now time to buy one of those Lister CS clones....and another diesel tank for farm diesel. 

By the way, do any of you remember what the maximum volumes of propane, diesel, etc. is that sets off a notification to the dotgov people when you buy in bulk?  That was something put into place right after 911...I was thinking over 1,000 gallons of diesel sets off notifications....but it could be less.

I haven't purchased for a few years, but we had four 500 gallon lp tanks, three 500 gallon farm diesel, a 300 gallon farm gas, and a 500 gallon farm gas, and was never aware of any Homeland Security reports.  The only time I had to do any fuel reporting was a short period when I had a truck that ran on lp.

It was the fertilizer they started tracking. Taggants as well I think.
To many bulk buyers of diesel for it to be practical.

Over 10,000 lbs and you have to register gasoline, diesel, propane, etc.  You register with state emergency management or local...so your data is out there.
