The socialists and communists have been infiltrating the education system since the end of WWI.
Look at the "Red scare of the 30's, look at the House UnAmerican Activities Committee hearings.
Look how many noted Communist sympathizers like Ezra Pound were involved in education .
It isn't just here either, look at England, where were KIM Philby, Donald McLean, and Guy Burgess (famous Soviet spies in the Brit intelligence community) recruited ?

This is entirely in line with the agenda of the "Frankfort School" and the Fabian Society that says the way to achieve a socialist dictatorship in Western nations is by undermining the then existing cultures of those countries.

We lost the Cold war because we fought the wrong enemy.
When the war could have been won through education we allowed the enemy to be teachers.
