About 3 or 4 days ago Wal-Mart had about a 12 boxes of .45...... Today Dick's was overflowing.... they probably had 5-15 boxes of every type of common caliber there is..... Prices were still high, so I passed.

Our DSG had mostly Wolf and Blazer....not cheap either, I passed as well.

Got 600rds WWB 9mm at WMart yesterday at $21.97, left two boxes on the shelf. There were more then a dozen boxes of .40 and .45 plus some .38. Shelves stocked with hunting calibers and birdshot. I see .40 regulary, but 9mm was a surprise. Other WMarts around here have them more often now.

OK, just got back from town, hit a couple of gun shops, and OMG - ammo was everywhere. The old Sportsmans Warehouse had tons of stuff in the popular calibers, missing a lot in some like .45ACP and .380. Price tags were missing from shelves on some of the ammo, it's been gone that long. Even had 4 bags (100 each) of Winchester .223 brass.

Then I went to Gander Mtn. - and they had 7, let me repeat that 7, different labels of .380 alone, including Federal Hydrashock. OK, the Federal was $25 for 20 rounds, but still!! Fochhi (2 completely different boxes but both 95gr FMJ) was $19 for 50 rounds. They had multiple labels of .25ACP and even 3-4 labels for 9mm Makarov.

The one that I almost fell over on were the boxes of Hornady 6.8 Rem SPC on the shelf! OK, it was $2 a round ($40 the box of 20) but again, on the shelf!

They wanted #13 for Wolf 7.69x39 - the same stuff Mills is selling for $7.
