The Mech-Tech Pistol Conversion Unit (PCU) utilizes a 12" barrel maintaining its status as a pistol accessory. It comes equipped with the mono rail and your choice of a quick disconnect or two point sling adapter on the back of the unit. I was looking at these thinking how easy it would be to replace the Sling Adapter with a Picatinny Stock Adapter, like Strike Industries Strike AR Picatinny Stock Adapter. Since the PCU is available with a threaded barrel, this would be an easy way to turn a pistol you may already own into a suppressor-host SBR, or braced-pistol analog.
