Communitarianism is a movement that considers individualism an impediment to society uniformly adopting values the movement considers appropriate, including authoritarian gun control.

Isn't it amazing (well, maybe not) that it's always the "liberals" and "progressives" who advocate the most restrictions on society that disagrees with them. For those of Us that had an education before the union took control, I remember reading about how certain groups in the 1920's and 30's cheered when Musolini and Stalin took control. Those groups refer to themselves now as "liberals" and "progressives".
Children, pets, and slaves are taken care of. Free Men take care of themselves.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communitarianism

This is a scary word and vission!

My take on this is that regardless of what the Constitution says any group of enlightened do-gooders can decide what is best for me as an individual to be  >:(  This explains things like smoking bans, sin taxes, the rise of special rights and entitlements for certain groups, special attention to crimes just because we can call them a "hate" crime ...

There has been a song written and a story told (sorry, but I can't remember the name) of how would we treat Jesus if he walked with us today.  In this wacky political atmosphere what do you think would happen to our Founding Fathers if they were to walk into Washington DC today?

By the way, did you pick up on the idea that Hillary is going to be able to get us that wonderful United Nations gun ban  >:(

Time to get out the Clinton cigars and show them all what they can do with them  >:(

Where the hell is Hank Jr.?  I feel the need for a new Second Amendment rally song ... something along the lines of Country Boy Can Survive.  While we are at it I would like to point out that former Pres. Clinton just fired shot across our bow.  If we don't respond with one at their waterline we are screwed ... PegLeg ... raise the colors!!!

Bill and Hillary's smugness and open disdain for the 'little' people makes me want to retch.....

***EDIT***
Figured this was a good place for a quick refresher:

5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?
6. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.

20. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.
21. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
22. You have only the rights you are willing to fight for.
23. Enforce the gun control laws we ALREADY have; don't make more.
24. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.
25. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

He was an A hole as President, and he's an A hole as an ex President. I don't care WHO he plays golf with.

Actually  I believe you give him too much credit, In office he was lower than a snakes belly . Either as Govenor or the other office he defiled with his antics.  ::)
