"Did I know what it was before I bought it?"
Honestly. NOPE! It was bigger than .308, in perfect condition, &
CHEAP! I figured it was worth getting a couple hundred rounds for
$20 bucks and finding a gun I liked to match it once I knew what it was, or one of my friends would surely want it for something they had. (the kid selling the stuff said "Its Russian, should be stamped with its size. Thats all I know."
From what I've read its not terrible stuff.
But. Silver bullets are worrisome! Corrosive powder and primers, steel bullets?, what worse could you do to a gun?!? Pee down the barrel to clean it?
Should have my new springs tommarow. So my 48 will be up and running. I hope.
