Bombproof Barrel & Battle Ready Bolt
« on: January 16, 2020, 12:54:08 AM »
I'm late to the party as usual and just found out about these two items from HM Defense; the HMB Battle Ready Bolt, and the HM MONOBLOC Barrel.

The bolt has a blind hole for the cam pin, and a shorter cam pin. That leaves a lot of extra metal on one side the bolt making it stronger. The cam pin and hole are both tapered at the end, leaving even more metal in the bolt. The bolt and cam pin are a drop-in fit for all M16 and AR15 bolt carriers. I quit looking for videos on it after I found this one.

The barrel has the gas block made integrally with it so there's no possibility of it ever moving or being misaligned. The gas block is even lower than a low mount and the barrel comes with a replacement gas tube. It looks like they had to bore the gas tube hole from the front because of that and the taper of the barrel. The same guy did a short video on this too. There are longer video reviews on YouTube of people testing it out if you're interested.

""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington.
