Got this in an email.  It does tend to explain a lot of "blunders" that have been made.

Any thoughts?


Obama can stop ISIS by not sending them any more weapons or money. Obama's administration sent weapons, funds and training to "moderate rebels" in Syria just under a year ago. A few months later, a group called ISIS came out of Syria and invaded Iraq. Where are the "moderate rebels" then? Where did the money and the weapons sent to "moderate rebels" go? The time frame for these events is less than a year. It should come as no surprise that there were never any "moderate rebels" in Syria, and that Obama was actually arming what is now known as ISIS and at that time was known simply as Al-Qaeda. Putting links in this message will make it harder to get it through the spam filters, but if you google for Obama weapons moderate rebels in Syria, you'll find plenty of information supporting these assertions.

If you recall, just last summer, Obama's administration was pushing for air strikes on Syria, based on the pretext of gas attacks on civilians. Obama's administration claimed these attacks were carried out by Assad's forces, but there was never any evidence to back up these claims. Testimonies from international commentators and even the rebels themselves indicated that it was the rebels that carried out these attacks to try to get air support from Obama's administration, in addition to the weapons, funding and training. Again, no links, but if you google for gas attacks Syria rebels, you'll find plenty of information. As this information was becoming public in the fall of last year, the mainstream media quietly swept the issue under the rug, perhaps you don't even remember now that all this has happened.

The American public and armed forces were against air strikes that would help Al-Qaeda in Syria (ISIS), so Obama's administration settled for simply sending weapons and money to them, until now. It might seem counterproductive to now call for air strikes on ISIS, but once these air strikes are authorized, who is to say that Assad's assets won't also be hit. In helping authorize air strikes on Syrian targets, ISIS will have fulfilled its purposes as an instrument of Obama's foreign policy.

You want to know the real identity of the masked terrorist beheading people in videos? His name is Obama bin Laden. Obviously Obama doesn't do the dirty work personally and he is not solely responsible, but as the face of his administration he is also the face behind the masks of the terrorists, because it is his administration that funded, armed, and trained the terrorists that are carrying out countless atrocities in Syria and Iraq today. These terrorists are just disposable tools, created for a limited purpose, probably not even smart enough to understand their role. Is it not conspicuous that they are attacking other Muslims and have not attacked Israel? Aren't their handlers and creators at least equally responsible for the crimes of their puppets? If we condemn ISIS and Al-Qaeda, should we not also condemn those that funded, armed and trained them? If we condemn these terrorists to death, should we not similarly condemn their handlers?

It was the so called "moderate" Syrian's Obama now wants to send more money to that sold their kidnapped journalists to the "Islamic State" for beheading.
The Muslim Obama has been funding and arming these declared enemies of every one else, since 2010.
Under Bush we were fighting scattered terrorists cells. Under Obama and the dems, who always know whats best, they have now declared their own country with an apparently uniformed army fighting under a national flag.

This is the same stuff as we had with Oliver North and the Iran-Contra stuff. We are arming the SAME folks that we've armed forty some odd yrs ago! WE FUELED THIS WAR Time and Time AGAIN! When will it end? WHEN WE, AS A UNITED PEOPLE,  SAY IT ENDS!!!!!!!!!! EVERY Govt. since REAGAN has fueled it, as will every govt.  afterward. The  ONLY  way to stop it is another internal revolution. It isn't a Republicans/Democrats party war anymore! The Republican/Democrat platform has became the SAME/SHAME! The (other) parties have become obsolete and irrelevant to modern politics.

So now the question becomes whether we STAND AND FRIGGIN' FIGHT!, or do we wither away in a whisper, as so many of our ancestors have!  YOU make your choice, I ALREADY HAVE!

   The email is BS for the most part. ISIS is the strengthened remnant of AQI (Al Qaeda in Iraq). You can imagine why the political class in DC from both parties don't want the American masses to realize that. The FSA is a joke and little more than a tool for "our allies" to extract funding/air strikes from the USA to help it's surrogates.
 
   Each of our "allies" in the region are supporting one or multiple factions, that compete against each other. Such as Qatar, which is directly and indiscreetly supporting Jubhat al Nusra (the official AQ affiliate in Syria.) Of course Qatar through  Al Jazeera was supporting AQI the whole time the USA was in Iraq so....
   
   The various Islamist groups in Syria work to maintain their individual territories and  extort the local citizenry/businesses for "protection." Defeating the Syrian govt is not really in their best interests, as none of the groups would be able to muster any real political support. The Muslim Brotherhood will swoop in as soon as Assad is out of power. The Saudis and the rest of the GCC, minus Qatar, are trying to prevent this. The Qataris and Turks are trying to ensure it happens. Iran, Russia and Assad are just trying to wait out the storm and believe the worst days for the regime are over.

   The wildcards in all this are the Chinese and the USA. Iran, Turkey(& Qatar), and the GCC try to influence both countries to pick a side. BTW there are 4 to 6 sides. The political elites in the USA have apparently chosen to not choose between the Saudis and the Turks and support both equally, even though Al Nusra is  AQ. Oh well...

   It is likely that Assad/Iran will benefit in the short to medium term. Unless Turkey decides to become militarily involved, which is likely as the FJP(Turkish Muslim Brotherhood) has managed to consolidate its power over all aspects of Turkish govt. Should be interesting as the fools in DC are totally clueless.

The simple, historically proven, answer is that there are NO good guys except the Jews. If we are going to do something effective we need to go over there and kill every one.

The simple, historically proven, answer is that there are NO good guys except the Jews. If we are going to do something effective we need to go over there and kill every one.

Kind of like the solution in the book Ender's Game - stop the attack and do whatever to prevent all future attacks.

Reading Glenn Beck's Miracles and Massacres.  In it Beck recounts the story of Thomas Jefferson's encounter with Abd al-Rahman, personal representative of the Pasha of Tripoli.  Rahman lectured Jefferson on the Koran and how as Muslims it was their right and duty to make war on infidels and to make slaves of prisoners.

This was 1785.   It took another 20 years before the US finally confronted the Barbary pirates.   Nothing's changed.   Then like now, people still believe Islam can be appeased.

for information on the period between Tripoli in 1803 and Benghazi in 2013 read up on the events leading to the death of British General Charles (Chinese) Gordan in Sudan.
It was what lead to the final defeat of the "Mahdist" forces at the battle of Omdurman.

The last 3 books were all written at the time, (Bennet Burleigh was a newspaper correspondent, and Winston Churchill was a Lt. with the 21st Lancers  ) so when you search for them go through the list toward the back they are listed as free. These are all one volume books so no worries about that.
