Dartmouth not West Point.
Private school before that, his Father owned a factory that made Knitting machines for the textile industry.
never married, lived with his Mother till she died, still lives in the same house.
Bit of a gourmand and wine snob,  Classical music , Board of directors of the Historical Society.
He's a walking encyclopedia of local history, but otherwise pretty naive.

From a life of privilge...that figures.

Never married....that smells fishy.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Picture Sgt Shultze with out the mustache .
My impression is that he just isn't interested, he gets horrified when I tell him some of the jokes Sledge and Phil post .
Thing is, he spent about 19 of his 21 years in the 82nd Airborne, 6 months in the Dominican Republic, 2 tours in Vietnam, and he never heard a shot fired in anger.

OK, I get the picture.  Well, I wasn't in the military and certainly never in those environs to hear a shot fired in anger overseas.

However...I have heard a couple of shots down New Orleans way...

When will we learn not to look at red's picture posts?  It started off so innocent too.
