Different situation M58 .
You are concerned about giving some one a set of skills that can result in injury or death if misapplied .
They are weaseling on ideas that their existence is based on not compromising .
It is as if Lincoln had "freed the slaves" by saying that "all blacks under 6 ft tall are free as long as their owner doesn't mind".
(Slaves over 6 ft represent NFA items )
I don't see them saying that.
They simply state an obvious fact, that the views expressed in the video are not supported by everyone.
By doing so they avoid spending millions on legal defense.
Do you think, instead, they should state that the views expressed in the video are supported by everyone?
I am not a lawyer, but I can see where not making that disclaimer, it might be argued, illogically, that the NRA are saying it DOES have everyone's support...and that might be enough to enable many frivolous lawsuits requiring court appearances and cases what will be dragged out for as long as possible.
Sort of like looking both ways after the walk light has come on. It is not weaseling on your just right of way, just wise precaution.
