The Tinderbox, is even more sensitive in America among the "less fortunate/impoverished/welfare dependent/dare I say minorities". Unemployment among minorities is approaching 20%. Check Carter and Clinton Minority Unemployment Numbers....There's a consistent pattern...

How close do you think we are to a "break" via  Rodney King/OJ Simpson/LEO shooting/entitlement failure, that spreads from city to city? To put it another way, if a certain political party, creates a "crises that should not go to waste", and like Van Jones/ACORN, MoveOn.org, CodePink,...etc,...actually WANT the bottom to RISE UP,...

What happens than?

The Middle,... the grass eaters,  the yuppies,....the "Moderates" will cry out MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

Do I need to mention again that a flawed immigration policy led to this? It wasn't until the 1960s and 1970s this even became an issue. Then, just like us, you throw the floodgates open and don't insist on assimilation. Gee, are the results not what you expected wanted? Who'd have have predicted it? Now's a good time to make sure you're in good shape vis-a-vis your own self-defense planning. Make sure you have that talk with your Significant Other and older kids about mob violence, and have a plan in place. Remember SITUATIONAL AWARENESS is now a necessary survival tool, maybe the most important survival tool at your disposal.

Think about your environment at home, at work, in transit from a defensive standpoint. The jungle is changing, and the Darwinian Imperative is pretty brutal.

You guys know I'm on record as saying every adult in America should own a semiauto carbine and the proper accouterments...AKs, ARs, even FALs are on the low end of the price cycle. Given my druthers, I'd go with an AR plain vanilla gas gun or one of the current Mini-14s. In The New Survival Guns, I talk about your basic self-defense firearm "module" -- at it's most basic a CCW handgun, a semiauto carbine and a shotgun. My thinking at this point is a 9mm polymer-framed pistol from a "name" manufacturer, the plain vanilla carbine in 5.56 mentioned above and a 12 gauge pump gun make pretty good starting points.

In any case, stay aware and stay safe...

What?   English have "gun crime"?   Maybe they should put some restrictions on gun ownership?   Like outlaw handguns or somethin'.   


Here in the US there could be some localized riots triggered by most any event that is interpreted as a violation of a groups rights entitlements.

I don't think wide-spread rioting is due for the US anytime soon.  As long as the lower half of the wage earners are given unending entitlements they won't rock the boat.  However, if those entitlements are reduced, or if a group perceives they will loose them, then you could expect them to take to the streets.

One can only hope that the darlings of the mainstream media feel their invincibility and cover future riots up close and personal; letting their arrogance carry them to the "front lines" for that killer interview they all want.   

By the way, the socialist/communists and SEIU had plans for summer 2011 demonstrations.   

Did I say socialists/communists?  I'm sorry, I meant the DNC....anyway, the SEIU and DNC put demonstrations in their playbooks to whip up support for the elections this year.  SEIU...these guys are supported by the unionized people who clean out office buildings and I haven't seen anyone that grew up speaking anything but Spanish cleaning any of the buildings I've worked in for the last few years.   

It may shock you guys, but if I ever get the chance to construct a new home I'll use the Carpenter's Union.  My dad was one...he was one who stood up when the radicals came in and wanted to run amuck.  When he passed away they gave my mom a bible and a really fine wood case for it.  They call to check on her 6 years after dad's gone.  They were, if not the first, a very early union to depart the communistic AFL/CIO.  For a few bucks more I'll hire some guys who are trained and know what they are doing as oposed to paying for screw ups during construction that are "no one's fault" or that fail long after construction is complete....you often get what you pay for and cheap is sometimes very expensive.   Oh yeah, most of them grew up speaking English, not the people your builder provides that you pay top dollar for. 

Looks like the lack of enforcement of immigration law has brought in a group of people who want to take down our government...they seem to fit in with the entitlement gang quite well.

Weapon, water, walking shoes, a few Datrek bars and a change of clothes...good to have if you work downtown in a large city.
