Benelli M2 barrel on M1 receiver

OK... it is a slow morning... in case anyone with a Benelli M1 is trying to find a new M1 barrel, good luck...I use a 21" M1 for multigun, but have been shooting a couple of rounds of skeet with friends weekly, and wanted a 26" barrel for skeet and sporting clays... unable to find an M1 barrel, a gentleman on another forum provided me with pictures of the modification needed to attach a newer M2 barrel... the M2 has a reinforcing lug behind the barrel attaching ring, and the fore end has to be clearanced for it to fit... I chose the simpler but more expensive route of buying an M2 fore end... works like a charm, and with a field grade stock and a 3/8" rubber cheek saddle shoots point of aim with no hold under....
