I am so F$#KING sick of coming up with meal ideas,
I am sick of cooking.
Still fond of eating though.
Freezer case, here I come   ;D

I like to eat and never liked cooking as much as my family and friends seem to. That's why I used to get a lot of frozen dinners when I had digital coupons for them. I'd get one of this and one of that and have something different for each meal. Two different somethings if I was hungry. Other than getting water and a gallon of milk right before the store closed last night, I haven't done any shopping in a few weeks. I have lots of food in the chest freezer but really I'm living off whatever I scrape together. I was out of milk for 2 weeks then ate instant oatmeal instead until I ran out of water. Then I drank all of my Powerade and Gatorade, and when there was no reasonable option left I finally left my cave.

I'm getting ready to eat some Cap'n Crunch, take a handful of pills, and go to bed for 4 or 5 hours. The box-springs for the mattress I bought a month ago finally came in and I'll really be hibernating when I get the mattress that's leaning against the wall on the bed. Sleeping day and night and only getting up to eat or use the bathroom isn't for everyone, but it works for me and some other animals. Cereal is my go-to option before bedtime, no matter what time that is.

Sounds like you should just move closer to those "family and friends".    ;D

It was easier when you were doing the McDonald's thing though....   :o

Grand-kids love the place and it nauseates me. I think McD's has changed to different oil or something, because I used to love their fries better than any other fast food joint...but lately their fries suck....and don't get me started on their jackass meat burgers.

Right now I'm having a bowl of sausage dip with leftover bacon and club crackers on the side.

Peg, Mickey D's used to use peanut oil to cook their fries in, with the onslaught of peanut allergies they had to switch to a different less tasty oil.

Jeez.
I can't even remember the last time I went to McD's.
I know it was since 2008.  ;D
When your main hang out is a diner you don't go out to other places that often.
Although I did order a pizza once while I was finishing my coffee.    ;D

You've got me beat by a loonng way. Once every so often I'll grab a couple of sausage egg McMuffins to eat while I drive up north to ride my ATV. Maybe once or twice a year on average. But more often than not I'll eat before I leave, or eat jerky or nuts or something on the way. There are a bunch of "jerky outlet" gas stations on the way too. They have a bunch of flavors of soft, moist jerky that has to be kept refrigerated. That washed down with Powerade makes a handy road breakfast. I still have piles of snacks leftover from last year that I may still be eating this summer. Sometimes up north we have home made sausage egg muffins cooked outdoors on the 3-burner grill, and they're better than McDonald's, especially when we have pepper jack cheese.

I still think it's funny that my ex mother-in-law's cousin used to eat McNuggets all the time until she said, you know what they're made of, don't you? Nothing but lips and @$$holes. And it was a few years before he ate another one. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed anyway. I used to call them McNuts, or ask people, just exactly what part of a chicken is the nugget?

Wife fried up some fish fillets and some french taters and grits for supper last night.
