I bought mine as a summer carry gun. Something I could carry dressed in just shorts and a t-shirt.  It has since become my primary carry gun due to its small size and ease of concealment. Granted...if I'm going to the neighboring town at night, I will carry something more substantial (high crime rate, and the BGs are most likely armed).

One of the greatest benifits of the LCP's popularity is that it has sparked more developement in high-performance .380 defense ammo, which makes the LCP (or any other pocket .380) an even more viable option for personal defense. I feel pretty confident with Cor-Bon DPX.

Thanks to a friend of mine that sold me some .380 reloading dies for 10 bucks...I've been able to put a couple thousand rounds through mine so far...and it has been 100%. I've also been able to run it in a couple of IDPA BUG matches, so I've become comfortable that I can deploy it in a reasonably quick timeframe.

Just my $0.03 worth (you always get more than you bargained for from me  ;))

This thread needs some gun porn ;D

I'm in between 'always' and 'occasionally'.  More like 'frequently', as it's rarely my primary but often the BUG.

Really haven't fired it since the initial break in and because .380 is apparently rarer than a virgin hooker.
They've got it on sale Gander Mt. You can order online from them now. I don't know the sale price of $19 (boy I like my 9mm Glock ;D)  applies or not, but it should be in the warehouse.

The wife and I finally got to shoot her Ruger LCP yesterday after scoring some ammo. We fired different rounds through it like Corbon Powr Ball, Corbon hollow points, Winchester and Remington. Fed very well with no mishaps nor jams. Sharp recoil but loved how it put the rounds on target. Cute gun and perfect for my wife.
