This one.
I affectionately refer to it as 'Door-stop'...because that's what it looks like to most folks. It's as ugly as a train wreck, but it shoots. I 'rescued' it from a butcher and gave it a good home.
It's a Colt Ser. 70 Gov't Model in .45ACP.
It was my first 1911 (had it for 20 years) and I'd sell every gun I own before it went. I just can't bring myself to re-finish it, even though the nickel is scratched and worn. The guy I got it from botched a beaver-tail job, and it was missing parts, but I was able to work with it. I taught myself about 1911's with it. I figured it was already ruined, so what the heck.
It's is accurate enough that I used it in Bullseye matches (even won a couple!).
She's ugly, but I love her.  ;)

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I don't own one, but I'd love to.
BAR

Browning BAR M1918A2, the final and most popular version. Often was used with bipod removed

I love the old west guns like the 1851 Colt Navy/1860 Colt Army Revolver Conversions.  The 1873 patent dated Smith and Wesson Model No. 3 Schofield Single Action Revolver, Early Second Model.  And the 1892 Winchester Lever Action Rifle designed by John Browning.

I also want the Taurus Judge "Ultra-light".  I think it's the ultimate home defense firearm to date.  It's just plain knarly!

The favorite gun that I own is my Ruger P97DC in .45 acp.  I love this gun!

BAR cool, but have you held one or shot it, at 21 lbs as I remember, it is really cool off  the bipod, or cup, try shooting it off hand in single action. You need to be a big strong boy and have some resolution to try it....  Not trying to badger your choice, but it is a heavy piece. Definitely not trying to diminish the value it gave to our armed forces, or the soldiers who carried and implemented it.

Hello.  Well, there are all sorts of favorites.  I don't have just one...

My favorite "always gun" is certainly not my favorite to shoot, but I do practice regularly with this little thing.  Looking at the frame edges and the mottled appearance of the cylinder, it is pretty obvious that this one is toted as close to 24/7 as possible.

My favorite .38 snub for shooting is this slicked up S&W Model 64 w/2" bbl.

The revolver I enjoy shooting more than any other I own would be this S&W Model 24 .44 Special.

The 1911-type pistol I am most proud of is this "home-built" Caspian .45 ACP.  I have about 90 hours work in this one.  I'd starve to death as a gunsmith, but it works reliably and groups better than I ever expected.  Nothing but files, stones and varying degrees of sandpaper were used on this one.  I did have it blued by a professional 'smith.

The 1911 I actually most favor for carry is this SA Mil-Spec that has been relatively lightly modified.

My favorite all-around 9mm has been the Browning Hi Power for decades now.  It all started with this first one bought new in 1971. It was customized by gunsmith, Lou Williamson, around 1972 or '73.  It still serves well today, though I usually shoot or tote it only to and from the range.

Best.

If Bonnie and Clyde could do it, I would hope that I could.  No badgering at all.  I didn't post the script with the picture.  The script came with the picture from google images.  I just wanted to post the pic to show the model with the carrying handle, as being the preferred model.  I seen that model last weekend at a show priced at $5 grand.  Hell, my wife b*!ches when I buy batteries for my green dot scope.  She doesn't appreciate my passion for firearms :-\

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
