All the parts went in as planned.  When the doctor opened him up, his valve function was a lot worse than originally suspected, but  he was out of surgery and waiting for some of the bleeding to stop before they zipped him back up yesterday afternoon.  He is still in ICU but off the ventilator and able to complain so things are looking up ;D.  Recovery will be a bit slower this time around, but everything should be fine. 

Thanks again to all the fine folks here.  I haven't been able to get to the computer as often as I would like, but I knew I could count on everyone here.  Thanks.

Thanks for the update.  You dad has been thru this before so he and you knows what to expect which is a good thing.  Will pray for continued recovery.
