Prayer for a Member & His Family
« on: August 30, 2009, 07:53:52 PM »
I will intentionally be private for a dear member of the DRTV forum who has lost a loved one to illness and may be in need of prayers and support. In time perhaps that will change, but it is not my call to make.

This is just a humble post for a member who means a lot to this forum, and to a fellow member. Prayers are with you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Peace and Blessings to you.

TW

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Whomever it is, they should know that they have our support and prayers and shouldn't hesitate to ask anything from anyone on here.

Prayers and condolences.

It's times like these when you need friends even if just to listen. Please rely on your friends. God bless you and yours!

Well done TW.

Thanks TW...

Though I've seen that poem too many times lately, it's still speaks perfectly to the loss AND the beginning of another journey!

God Bless our friend.....
