OOOOHHHH...45-70!I want a Remington SPR double rifle in 45-70!
My favorite handgun round is 45 acp. Feels good shooting it and it's a nice looking little round.
A couple of years back, Sheriff Jim Wilson wrote an article for Shooting Times about the gun he might choose if he were limited to just one. It came to him choosing a medium frame .357 magnum, ultimately because of it versatility. I thought his reasoning was pretty sound and being that my first gun was a 6-inch 686 that I got for graduation, I'd be pretty content with the .357Mag. The article was great, being that it was one of the BS subjects that any of us would want to discuss over a campfire.http://www.shootingtimes.com/gunsmoke/0609/http://www.shootingtimes.com/gunsmoke/0612/It does make me cringe a little to pick just one caliber or gun.
