Podcast on the rise of the .22
« on: February 05, 2012, 09:17:01 PM »
As usual Michael, you are spot on.  I learn so much by listening to your podcast and recently purchased a Walther P22, for the exact reasons that you mentioned.  I try to get to the range at least twice each month.  Shooting my regular carry gun, a Glock 23, is expensive.  So based on the information you share in the Podcast, I figured you were right, you need to practice more and shoot more, because skills are perishable.

With the .22 ammo being 525 rounds at $20 compared to 500 rounds of .40 cal at $140 or there a bouts, it really is a no brainer!

I won't neglect practicing with my Glock, but I can shoot more drills and work on my balance of speed and precision more often because of the savings!

Keep up the Podcast and I am so glad it's an hour now!

Hope Alf the Wonder Begal is OK and don't over work yourself shoveling out of the snow storm.  Read it on your blog!

Cheers!
