Thanks for reminding us of this thread.  Besides my target model, I got two very plain 10/22s at Bargin prices and outfitted them for shooting steel.  One with iron sights and one with red dot.  Haven't replaced the triggers yet, but then Rimfire steel shooting hasn't really taken off like I'd hoped.  Maybe I'll put one of these trigger on my wish list.

Yeah well...maybe there will be a Rimfire Challenge next year that will motivate you to get new triggers.  I am still sore they canceled for the virus this year.

So what red dot did you get?  I got plenty of time to get ready for next year....maybe even enough to scrape up the cash for a red dot.

I got the Fast Fire III.   One on the 10/22 and one on the 22/45. 

Once ICORE is over for the winter I may go to the local Shooting Steel and exercise my rimfires.

FastFire III comes in 3moa and 8moa models.    Pick yer p'isen.
