What's the backup plan?
« on: March 20, 2016, 12:21:39 PM »
Always hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

With that in mind, what are the contingency plans IF Hilary wins the election.  This will mean either her or Obama gets to pick Scalia's replacement and throw in possibly a few others.  She'll also push for the Australia model of confiscation, higher taxes on all things firearms, and changing laws to attack the manufacturers.

Who is the lead politician spearheading against this or will this be a coalition of small groups fighting (politically) in coordination with each other?  We cannot afford to just react blindly.

It's why the Senate and House elections are so important, but way underplayed this year.  POTUS can't do a whole lot without Congress.  One hope that if a Democrat wins the WH, Republicans can control Congress.

And dont' forget the importance of local elections, as well.

Definitely!  We need these guys to plan and execute a gun rights offensive to protect our rights.  (I never understood why no gun rights laws were added to the spending bill.  (Those will always pass.)

We here in the Peoples Republic are under constant assault by the leftist legislature but with the local GOAL attorney's who constantly put a boot up the ass of the same body of leftists, we usually manage to maintain the upper hand on more gun controls.  Gun sales are up, memberships are at their highest levels, licensing is way, way up...

I know it's still MA but it's not OZ either...  These leftists know we vote, vote in every local, regional and state/federal elections.

Yea, the POTUS is important but as Alf says and I've said dozens of times, the House and Senate are most important and why they're Article 1 of the Constitution and NOT Article 2...  The Framers did it for a reason since those two bodies ARE THE PEOPLE...

Price jumps and sell it all.

When big brother comes to get it flash the cash and smile.  "Nothing to see here....move along..."

Your neighbors and family will turn you in.  Don't overlook that and don't overlook that these boards are scoured by big brother.

I don't think I could sell them all. Some have severe sentimental value.

Besides the whole point of this is to get an actionable plan set so we don't have to sell them.

You only have, or deserve, the rights you are willing to fight for.
The 1st revolution started over stolen guns .
But today's wimp population will just bitch, complain, andturn in the ones they actually paid for.

I think Honorable Tzu say it more in Twitter format than in a War & Peace tome.

A slight thread drift, but right on with the subject line:

How easy would it be to create a civil war?  One author's take is 5 people is all that's needed.   I'd go for 5 people per major metropolitan area, myself, to do a thorough job.

http://globalguerrillas.typepad.com/globalguerrillas/2016/03/how-the-us-ends-up-in-a-civil-war.html

Some, if not many, have felt that this along the path we are headed, but orchestrated by the current political leadership, not the grass-roots.

Keeping it on thread, what's your backup plan?
