just so we are keeping score... so far after 3 years of competition (compared to 25 years with a series of 1911s) my Glock hasn't

broke a finger bushing
broke an extracter hook
split a barrel... chamber to muzzle
broke links on properly fitted barrels (5)
sheared a main spring housing pin
loosened a plunger tube (2)
cracked a firing pin stop in half
needed the bolt face re surfaced
cracked at the slide stop notch
sheared off a slide stop catch
broke off the legs of an ejector
cracked a hammer
