5 Months after purchase, S&W comes through on rebate.
« on: July 19, 2008, 11:45:52 AM »
Purchased a full size M+P .40 on Feb. 10 2008, the rebate was $50.00 AND 2 mags.

Received the $50 in mid-May. :)

JUST received the 2 mags today. :D
There is hope if anyone else on this forum is also waiting for S&W to come through on a promo offer.

PLUS, the new American Handgunner mag arrived 8) and the S&W 2008 product catalog. ;D

Only 1 bill for the trash service :(

I'd say all in all, a good mail day!

I had better luck with mine.  Spring promotion had to have been HUGE!  Two mags and $50 off was a real hook for me.  I liked it when I got it, and love it after a break-in and a trip to Dan Burwell.

I purchased my M&P looking forward to getting used to it prior to our State IDPA match.  Chronology as follows:

On 2/13/08, I purchased an M&P 9 and sent in my Spring Spectacular rebate & magazine offer.

On 3/11, I ordered 2 additional mags and a hat.  Mags were backordered.

On 4/9, I received 2 magazines

On 4/11, I received my $50 rebate check from S&W.

On 4/18, I received my other 2 mags.

State match on 4/26.  Priceless.

5/4, shipped to Burwell Gunsmithing.

5/23 got her back w/ 3.5 lb pull and tac sights.  Giggidy, giggidy!

TStorm, welcome to the site. And thanks for the chronology, I wondered how that was going. Not enough to actually buy one myself, but it was tempting.

I love SC too, been mostly around Charleston, have my Dad's old war buddy's family down there, still friends. Spent a lot of time on Sullivans Island in my day too.

Well at least when buying a S&W you get two free mags and a $50 check in the mail.

All I got was a recall notice with my SR9. :'(

Good to know I have a M&P 40 on layaway and it has a $30 or 2 magazine rebate. I guess now I know I will have a long wait for my magazines.

Possible long wait, hopefully they crank them out at a faster rate, BUT enjoy your M+P! I love mine and it really is a spot on shooter right out of the box.

I bought my M & P on Saturday (7-20)  and sent the rebate coupon (for mags) on Mon.  I ordered two extra magazines from Botach because I'm not optomistic that Smith will get those mags to me real quick.  I'm jealous of you guys who got yours during the two mags AND 50 dollar rebate.  :'(
