A friend on mine said she spent upward of $50 at Black Rock Bar & Grill, but didn't say how many drinks that included. If they served margaritas, she had them. At Black Rock you cook your own steak or seafood at the table, on a piece of volcanic granite heated to 755 degrees, until it's done the way you like it. They suggest 1 minute cooking time for seafood and 5-60 seconds for meat, depending on how you like it. 25-35 seconds gives you a steak cooked medium. I've never been there and won't likely go. I can't recall ever spending more than $30 just for myself on a meal, but usually I have a glass of iced tea or lemonade, and not alcoholic beverages.

If she earns a living, works the hours that a surgeon works as a resident, which are numerous I’d expect, then she probably deserves the right to an expensive meal!

Since she’s good with a blade and you sleep next her then 300 bucks might be the best route to take!

So tomorrow  is like go out date day.  I just want to go out and go down the nature trail.  Take a picknick  and just enjoy being out side.  The misses wants to go spends a few hundy(me pay ofc) on something I really  dislike.   Am I wrong for saying it is too much money?

Nope, ended up grilling a steak at home.  I am all for going out, but I can not see spending $300 on a meal for 2.  I work very hard for every dime I make.  I am super frugal  about personal spending. 
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

I buy most of my food on sale or with coupons, and lots of times both, then get rebates from savingstar.com. Other things I buy no matter the cost just because I want them. When I get 30% or more off my groceries, it gives me more money to blow on something good. When I want steak I usually pay someone to grill it over a wood fire.
