I know there were issues with aftermarket magazines that held more rounds. I believe it was discussed on this forum?

I really liked the Hi-Point 995 9mm that I owned. Would really like to get the .45 version and curious as to why Jaybet and his buds had an issue getting the magazine back in? One of the reasons I am holding off till the bugs are worked out.

I can't answer that...I handled it long enough to clear one magazine, but my friend said that ,"You have to hold in the magazine eject to get the magazine in" (past about 2/3 of the way in). It felt like the mag was hitting the keeper and the keeper wouldn't give. Could just be a lubrication issue, but I don't know. This guy usually has his weapons in pretty good shape.

How was the recoil on it Jaybet? I forgot to ask that. Looks like they created a stock to help absorb any or all recoil.

Recoil was next to nothing. I fired the 9mm awhile back and that was like a  .22. this thing isn't much more even with the 45 load. The spring loaded stock makes a big difference.
