TO DO:

  • Buy P365   < ---- traded in Shield
  • Buy extra mags
  • Register for slot/squad  <----- squad 32 Friday
  • Break gun return to SIG  <---- bad sear, returned 4/23
  • Procure ammo
  • Practice   <-- 1218 Total - 4 IDPA, 1 USPSA Matches
  • Make travel plans   <---going solo, airline booked, hotel booked
  • Go
  • Shoot
  • Collect awards  ;)

Did the final IDPA match before I go.    It had some stinker of stages, which I guess is good because it was a good workout.  I ended up using my longer mag release even though I can't take it to Sig.  What a gamer I've become.    Did use the Syntech ammo that I'm taking for the match.  Worked fine, of course.

Paring down what I'm taking. Fighting the battle of weight and space in the suitcase.  If I clean the gun before I go no need to take a lot of tools and cleaning stuff.  Will take my magazine brush but will buy a can of One-Stop cleaner and some CLP when I get there.  Delta allows up to 11# in a suitcase so taking 300 rounds of Federal Syntech.  I remember this from IRC when the Aussies came up short of ammo and had to scrounge locally.    Leatherman.  Tiny screw driver.  A bronze and a plastic brush.  AND A PAPER CLIP.  Did you know that's the best tool for changing the mag release on a P365?  Don't know what Sig "officially" recommends but a paper clip is essential in my book for that part.  A punch small enough is too hard and will break.

Since I'm only going 4  days, I'm parking at the ATL airport.  I've been watching and plenty of on-site parking, especially on midweek.  BAC and I are planning to meet up.   Mapped out, seafood restaurants, gun stores, grocery stores and liquor stores (seems a number of the seafood places are BYOB).

Some at least.
Not sure about all of them, UNH runs Star Island .
That's where their Marine Science Center is.
I know the case went to SCOTUS but I don't recall the decision.

Thank you, Brian for making it pretty.  Hope the Wednesday and Thursday shooter don't mess it up.

Here's my hard sided case packed.   Actually I've rearranged it slightly since I took the picture.  Magazines on top of the ammo and the center section filled with magazine carriers and Walker In-ears.

[EDIT]
Repacked the case, moving the magazines on top of the ammo.  This allows more room for other items.
