BTW Squib, I'm jealous!  :(  Last I'd heard you were looking for a cowboy.

Honest, congrats and I hope all goes well for the two of you.  :-*

Were you planning on a "personal" presentation (go with the TAB) or is this going to be in front of family/friends?

Hi Haz,
Thanks for the good wishes - didn't find a cowboy, just a nice Irish fellow.  ;D

The presentation can be either...

Weell, as me Muthers maiden name was Burwell, me darlin'...  ;D

If in 'public' you could do a Mae West take off.  Some thing like "Hi ya big boy. Since I know you're happy to see me let's put a gun in your pocket".  Of course you MUST vamp and do your best impression.  ;) :D

Actually, if that photo is really you, all you would have to do is repeat that pose with the new gun.  That should be more than enough for any man who still has a pulse.

Not if you want him to notice the gun! ;)

Just the fact that your giving him a gun as a present, is a moment that he'll never forget!!!!!!!

+1. Squibby, I don't think you could go wrong presenting the gun in ANY way. After all.... You're giving him a gun.
But Maybe you could conceal it on your person and let him frisk you? ;D

What I think would be interesting is bake a hollowed out cake place gun and case under the cake, when he cuts into the cake he'll find the gun.

Then there is the scavenger hunt idea, sending him all around the house ( could involve your honey do list)  my parents did this when I got my Daisy when I was a kid.
