Tell him to piss off.....................then educate him on what "assault weapons" really are.  You can bet the farm that this guy thinks a Daisy Red Ryder qualifies.

Would you go to a gun show and trade your AR for a 38 J frame?
A bird in the hand is worth..Well, about a box of shells!

That J frame would have to be serial # 1. I could probably trade That J frame for two ARs.....The pistol you have on your person
is to deal with problems which arise without warning. If I have a chance to get to a long gun, that would be my choice......

I just had an interesting phone conversation with a person of power
(sorry about the vagueness) and he wanted my input on an interesting
proposal being bandied about the backrooms of the Nebraska State Legislature.

It involves banning assault weapons in return for almost complete CCW rights.

Well, you can never post these links too many times so I will repost them here even though the view counter is
preset by some Google type Bolsheviks. It would be fun to see what would happen if the Shooting Gallery embedded this
on the front page for a few days.  Would the view counter start to spin?

Best regards,

May you stand before God and man as my two precious grandchildren's killer if you pass any more gun legislation that will make me a felon should I own a handgun or any other gun for that matter.

History to date suggests WE (collectively) the people may be EXACTLY that stupid because THEY, the bureaucrats, keep getting away "with it".

Hence, the importance of the Mary Carpenter Videos. Her family was that stupid and paid the price. Same with Virginia Tech.

Do not be the next to fall to suicidal government regulations.

A compromise to you is not one to them.

I pretty much echo the overall sentiments.  If they are so bold as to open up CCW, then take them to the mat and do that, and do NOT TOUCH anything else.

+1. Also +1 on telling them to piss up a rope.
