XD Tactical rail and a Dark Ops Underboss not matching up correctly

I purchased an Underboss from Dark Ops http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=881526&t=11082005 mainly because it was cheap, because I wanted a laser and light combo for my bedside gun.

The one problem is I can't for the life of me get it on the rail farther than the first notch >:(.  The light is on but it isn't as stable as I would like and the laser is off center and I can't figure out how to straighten it out. :-[

So does anyone have any suggestions.
