Major Domo, their loss, our gain. DRTV ROCKS. First of it's kind and I don't think your having too many growing pains. More and more is being offered on a weekly basis.

Thank you, Michael.

Dude!

You should actually thank MARSHAL, who does all the real work around here...

Wait a minute...he's at a machinegun shoot this weekend while I'm filming Best of SHOOTING GALLERY ins and outs...

So you don't have to thank him after all!

Just joking, Marshal!

Well Hell~~~ Like,

what am I?    Chopped Liver? ::)
I swear.. ya have to be a real bona fide  "hitch up yer britches, cowgirl up"  type of female to work with these 2 owl hoots !
 ;)  ;D

We aren't at  the machine gun shoot yet. It's coming up in a couple weeks..
of which I 'might' get a chance to actually shoot one of those bad boys and try to blow up a car!
Won't THAT be some kind of kick ass, cat daddy stuff??
Yeessssss!!!!!!!

((Oh yea, I will admit that  Micheal and Marshal put in tons of hours and  actually DO work very hard.
In fact, not to sound like I am bragging too much on ourselves.. We are very proud of what this site is becoming, and
we all 3 work very hard on making DRTV the best it can be.

But the key factors are 'you'.. the members and users of the site.
Without all of your support and memberships, there wouldn't be a reason to have Down Range.
 So ...........................................

****walking away grumbling under my breath*** And I'm the best damned pkg of chopped liver that they will ever find.
I swear having to keep up and  put up with the crazy likes of those 2 could make a sane person
 flip over the edge********* but.................................

Friends dont let friends buy AR-15s , Dont get me wrong I carried a M-16 , but the AK is a much superior weapon and the round is better in CQC . The AR is better at long range, but is that what you need?. NO a 30 round 762x39 154 gr.

2how I don't feel undergunned with an AK OR SKS, but superior, I don't agree, neither one of these is a good bet for precision shots, at 100 yrds. Minute of person, I'll give you that. I've shot them both at 500 meters, and I'll have to say, they keep their 3 moa out to that range. Thats no small thing. I don't currently have any AK'S, but still have 3 sks, one of which takes ak mags. I've got that one hot enough to make the hand guards smoke. and it keeps on ticking. I was able to make head shots @ 200 meters on an 8"  steel head target prone under good conditions. As things progress, I hope someone will make a rifle that shoots the 7.62x39  accurately. The chinese surplus, has a surprisingly low standard deviation. 12 - 20 fps.

I've only been to one tournament that these rifles ruled. It was a run and gun match, the targets were hidden behind 8" logs that could not be seen, the .223 would not penetrate the wood and take down the steel, but the 7.62x39 would. Personally, that's why I love myM1'A'S.
