AR-15 Lower - which one?

My son is looking for an AR-15 Lower. Is one better than another? Here is a list, are there others? These range in price from $210 - $280 with an A2 stock.

I thought that people usually buy stripped lowers and they get everything else in the kit.  What do people think of Model I's kits?

I've always been different (my mother told me so)...I bought a complete DPMS lower (two actually). I made a "D" in shop in high school, so the fewer parts I have to deal with the better.
