Look at this link. http://www.familyfriendsfirearms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31304

It explains it pretty well (scroll down for instructions) and has a list of C&R Dealers.

I have found more anti gun or gun ignorant people at UPS stores than anywhere else.

Also, a C&R runs $35...I use mine to get the dealer discount at Midway and Brownell's.

I also believe that if you sent a gun in for service, say to Springfield, they can send the gun directly back to you. Don't quote me, but I think that's right.

Yes,  the gun manufacture ships the gun back to your home address. Thanks for the tip on C&R. I'll  look into that.

Don't hang out around City Hall or the Statehouse, huh?

Don -- I saved enough on one order from Midway to pay for the C&R twice over.

A curio & relic license allows you to order all those nifty milsurps advertised in Shotgun News as C&R eligible and have them shipped straight to you instead of your FFL, cutting out the $25 your dealer gets for doing the transaction. How much ATF BS is involved I don't know. And how much future ATF buttsniffing you will have to endure as a result of being issued the license I don't know either.
