Marshal's still in Vegas, working on DRTV in the middle of some casino floor off a phone, no doubt! We meet up tomorrow in Chicago on the way to a gun manufacturer's super-secret new product demonstration.

Seriously, usually December is my down time...not so this year! In order to meet the deadlines for THE BEST DEFENSE, which were concurrent with SHOOTING GALLERY, I had to shelve COWBOYS untilwe wrapped the other two series. Now I'm 100% into COWBOYS — what Marshal and I were in Vegas for — and will be through the end of February.

As it happens, there are some very exciting things going on with DRTV that we can't tell you about yet...announcements hopefully by the end of the year. Expect more videos and some of the most innovative Internet programming ever...Marshal and I were going to raise the bar, then we decided what the heck, let's just break the bar in half and throw it away! I'm filming for DRTV today, in fact.

On 1 January I also go into production on Show #4, which is another series flying under THE BEST DEFENSE flag, but with a twist. The new series are heavily integrated with the Internet, as is the 10th season of SG, which will air in Q1 2010, including — GET THIS! — the first live audience SG!

I am reminded of a poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay, I believe:

My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light.

Me., I just love to watch the rest of the industry try desperately to catch up with us...just when they get close, Marshal and I snatch the rug out from under them again...
