Had the BD version on order at a LGS. Paid in full. They jobbed me out of one of the two they had on order, sold it to another long time customer even though I had paid in full. Used the balance to buy the missus a Kimber K6.

I've heard nothing but good about the pistol. Still kinda want one even though I'm currently on a 1911 journey. Cajun Gun Works can do amazing things with CZ products.

FBG dadgum them.  Sold it out from underneath you after you put in a deposit.  What dogs.  I would not buy anything from them ever again unless they were losing money on the deal.

Tab go buy it and let me know how you like it.  I get a Jones for one of those every now and then and something comes up that takes my attention or $$$$'s.  Gunbroker may have some slightly better prices after shipping but it's better to take one you can handle before you buy.  I have owned a half dozen 75B's and they were/are all great.

I was on a quest to buy one sometime in the last year and tripped up on something else.  I need to get nudged back into the CZ-97 direction....

I am kind of the same way, I want one, but the $ is always needed else where( I am  super frugal when it comes too personal spending)  I am having a hard time buying another 45.   More so since it's not a 1911 that I want.  That. Ding said I have never  bought a .ca product I was not impressed with.  Always either very high quality or way better value for the money.   Right now my money is all getting dumped into a move( Mrs took a job in a d9ffrent state, so moving closer too the airport so she can fly daily.)  The good news is the house sold day 1 on the market and I got a fair price for it

For all the crap CZ gets in some circles, I have a CZ-40P in .40 which I refer to as my franken gun. Only it was CZ who frankened it, a combo of a P01 and CZ40B. Fits my hand like a Sig, loads of fun to shoot. I went to sell it once, and thought twice about it, thankfully.

I have fondled the 97B numerous times and love the thing...but there's always something else I wanted a little more. I have a Rami I like a lot, but I've heard the 97B is a nice shooting gun, and I'd love to try that out.

I’ve had mine for about 5 years now and I can’t say anything bad about it. I prefer it over my 1911’s. It carries cocked and locked or DAO. Trigger was exceptionally crisp in single action the DAO was smooth but a bit long for me at first. Aluma grips fixed the reach issue. With ten plus one rounds of .45acp she’s been my roadie.
