Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.

Yeah...uh-huh.  Get one.  You know you want it.  Just go do it.  Jump up and drive a stake in it.  Nail that sucker....go buy it now.

Not that I'm trying to influence you or anything....

That there link still works...   ;D

You are going to make me buy one of these...I'd like to hold out and pick up a couple of CS 550 FS rifles before they are all gone (discontinued to lesser design) but no....I'm going to have to get one of these pistols instead.

I have several I haven't shot yet....a guy can't let that stop himself from getting another.  I have a really nice Winchester 9417 I've had for 10 years along with a Winchester 94 that goes back 4-5 years.  A nice 1100 in 410, at least one 30-06 Remington, etc..

That's what Gunbroker is for...acquisitions for those without time.  When I got that CZ 452 FS it sat in the gun shop for 5 weeks before I could get it...haven't shot that one either...or the Marlin lever action 22...

You are a business man that is married to a doctor....there's got to be a way to make it a company purchase or get the wife to spring for it...when you have a contract put a line in there for providing occasional armed security.  Armed security....that would be you and...voila' a depreciable business write off because you are in the security business as well as the construction business.

I had to dig just a little more.  I don't have the scratch for one of these for a while and buying one now will put me in a real bind.

I can't believe I missed this. I've had a CZ-97B for a few years now, and never shot it. It's been lying in the back of the safe until I dug it out the other day, only to find the plastic guide rod had taken a set, and was all warped and bowed to hell.

So I ordered this Stainless Steel one from Cajun Gun Works.

https://cajungunworks.com/product/stainless-steel-guide-rod-97bbd-tactical-sport/

It arrived today and took all of 2 minutes to install. It fit perfectly, so tomorrow it's off to the range to light it up. If you get one TAB, be sure to just order a Stainless Steel guide rod right off the bat, and be done with it. I don't understand why they try to get cheap in the wrong places with parts on these guns. Anyway, here is the pistol. It's built like a brick $h!t house. All 43 ounces of it.

Can't believe you missed this thread?  If that's it you need to get out more...   ;D

That plastic rod deformation is good to know.  I need to go and check some of my 75B's for a plastic rod and see whats what.  Also that Cajun Gun Works is a new source for me...out of West Monroe, LA.  I've relying on CZ and Angus Hobdell's sight.
