Thanks fellas...weird...I recieved a lot more well wishes on my birthday from my online gunnie friends than I did my actual physical friends (not counting my family, God bless them)...does that say something about our society or just that gunnies are good people?

Anyway, I spent an hour of my birthday putting a few rounds downrange with this



The rest was spent basking in the glow of my kids and wife.  I am blessed

Blackwolfe gave me an idea...even though I didn't get a .44 for my birthday (I don't yet own any .44's) I DO LOVE .45s.  I see next year's birthday being a .45 birthday.

Maybe a new custom .45 ACP...defintely a 1911
How about another .45 Colt...I've got a few...maybe a Redhawk or another Vaquero?
Another .45-70 would be nice...the new Marlin 1895 would be fantastic.

How about all three?  You only live once!
