As it should be (castle doctrine)

Charges against the boys, none against the lady.

In CHI no less.

"Why are you carrying a pistol?  Expecting trouble?"

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."

I just hope she doesn't get a visit from his older brother or cousin. :-\

This is tough. I stand firmly behind this woman and her actions. It is still tough that she shot a 12 year old kid. That being said, there are some seriously twisted kids out there. Especially in the inner cities where the gangs are recruiting heavily. Bad situation all the way around. Hopefully this sends the message that this lady should not be messed with, and this kid has a scar for the rest of his life reminding him to walk on the right path. Glad the woman was not charged, and it sounds like the kid will fully recover.

God grant that I may not be found wanting,
