Who is Barack Obama?

If I were a democrat, VERY BIG IF . I would vote for Obama, 1) He gives a good speech, some say the best since Reagan. and 2) He is a politician that has not been around for the last 20 years ,as they say, achange is almost as good as an improvement, you know Demo's Image is everything and substance is something you smoke.
  But since I am NOT a democrat I would sooner vote for Hazcats avatar.

Having been from Illinois, where I had to live for most of my adult life, here is who Obama is.

He is an Illinois politician (i.e., corrupt, like Daley just not caught yet), a socialist who has leveraged his "work" in the worst parts of Chicago for this political limelight, and the worst parts of Chicago are still just exactly that - the worst - in spite of his earnest efforts, which of course had nothing to do with resolving the real problems in Chicago. He is a student of Saul Alinsky, trained in the streets, and a master of the "move the masses" that Alinsky favors. Obama has an agenda a mile long, of which we only see the tip of the iceberg at this point. He is about as Christian as my easy chair, and his concern for the average Joe about as real as Hitlery's Southern accent.

He is dangerous for what is known of his past and for being from Illinois. He is also, like most of the current candidates, much more dangerous for what we don't know about them, who they have sold out to, who they really represent, what it is they want to do to us (not for us).

That is Barak Obama - in a nutshell.

well said...I am not a fan of Obama but it is not because of his name, color or the religious beliefs of his dad...

I just saw him speaking today and he gets people fired up and ready to vote.  I have never seen anybody get a crowd going like that including Reagan... 

Maybe AC/DC or Ozzy but that is about it...

Obama is full of enough bad policies NOT to vote for him.

Thing is, I'm stuck in Illinois, and I basically realize - nothing Republican's going to get elected.  Just take a look at George Ryan *spits on Ryan's grave.* 

So, rather than enfeeble our cause with a mere throwaway vote for a Republican who's going to get what... two delegates at best... I'm hedging my bet to torpedo Satan's Bride (Hillary).  God bless you guys who can give us a red state victory!
