Sometimes it's not a matter of "delete" but of reorganizing or going to another service.   I have a few things on Photobucket, but the majority of my pictures were on Picasa.   Then when Google took over Picasa and ruined it, I moved everything to Smugmug.  For posts on here that wanted to preserve for the ages (vain me), I did go back in to several threads and update the links.

Perhaps you could delete (or reorganize) the Photobucket links as to not clutter up Bane's pretty boards with massive "image no longer available" placeholders.
